Surface renovation or complete renovation?
Renovation and painting are not the same job. Choosing the right level means you do not pay for work the house does not need.
Surface renovation
Preparation and repair, full skim coating of walls and ceilings, lining (filt) where it is needed, and painting. The right choice when the layout stays as it is and the house mainly needs even, durable surfaces.
Complete renovation
Floors, electrical work, kitchen, bathroom and painting in one coordinated project. The right choice when several rooms are being changed at the same time, or when installations are worn out.

What affects the price
Two houses of the same size can end up at very different prices. These are the things that move the number the most:
Size and number of rooms
Square metres, ceiling height and how many rooms are included.
Condition of the house
Cracks, damp, old wallpaper or uneven walls mean more preparation before painting.
How many trades
Painting only, or floors, electrical work, kitchen and bathroom as well.
Materials and finish
Paint quality, floor type, tiles and fittings you choose.
Access and logistics
Parking, stairs, whether you live in the house during the work, and waste removal.

From estimate to handover

- 3You receive a written scope, a schedule and a fixed, reviewed quote.
- 4We carry out the work with one contact person who keeps you updated.
- 5We check the result with you, correct any snags and hand the house over cleaned.
You have one contact person for the whole project. That person books the trades, answers your questions and tells you in advance when something changes.
Time planning
Surface renovation of a house is typically measured in days to a few weeks, depending on how many rooms are included and how much preparation the walls need. A complete renovation with floors, electrical work, kitchen and bathroom runs over several weeks, because the trades have to follow each other in the right order and materials have delivery times.
You get the schedule in writing before we start, with the start date, the order of the work and the expected handover. If you live in the house during the project, we agree which rooms stay usable and when.

- Covering and protection of floors, furniture and fittings
- Preparation, repairs, skim coating, lining and painting as agreed
- Coordination of the trades included in your project
- Cleaning after the work and removal of our own waste
Not included by default
- Work that only becomes visible once we open walls, floors or ceilings
- Materials and fittings you buy yourself, unless we have agreed otherwise
- Changes you ask for after the scope has been agreed – these are quoted separately
Your written quote states exactly what is covered and how any extra work is handled, so you can compare offers on the same basis.
Quality, materials and warranty
We use eco-labelled paints with low emissions, moisture-resistant systems in bathrooms and kitchens, and durable, washable finishes in rooms that get daily wear. Before handover we walk through the house with you and correct anything that is not right.
Our work carries a two-year workmanship warranty, and you can reach us afterwards if something needs attention.
